The sound of water leakage is characterized by various noises and a mixture of complex sounds. Human hearing plays a significant role in this judgment. In recent years, water leakage in main drainage pipes has decreased due to pipe renovation projects, achieving a high level of effectiveness. In contrast, minor leaks in water supply pipes and within buildings have increased, making investigation work very challenging. This device detects such weak leakage sounds and identifies leaks by confirming and comparing sounds and numerical values. Sensors and filters have been adjusted to be particularly suitable for detecting leaks in water supply pipes such as VP pipes and polyethylene pipes. It employs an "easy-to-read meter" and a "filter that allows for easy-to-hear sounds," enhancing the detection efficiency of the device.
