The FRM220-40G-2Q is a 3R transponder from 40G QSFP+ to 40G QSFP+, enabling media conversion and extending transmission distances for 40G Ethernet. The FRM220-40G-2Q addresses the increasing bandwidth demands of data centers and enterprises. With the emergence of high-end servers and Ethernet switches equipped with 40G Ethernet interfaces, there is a growing demand for media conversion (from multimode to single mode) and link extension (from single mode to single mode). The FRM220-40G-2Q has two 40G QSFP+ ports, and the QSFP+ modules are hot-swappable. It is easy to set up and install, operating with plug-and-play functionality. The FRM220-40G2Q can be inserted into not only the FRM220-CH20, CH08, and CH04 modular chassis but also the CH02M and CH02/SMT standalone chassis.
