The lubricants used in the drawing (pulling) process of metal wires are primarily water-soluble. Key elements of water-soluble lubricants include lubricity, cleaning ability, low foaming, and rust prevention. Generally, lubricity, cleaning ability, and low foaming are conflicting properties, so it is necessary to select lubricants according to their intended use. In recent years, the demand for high-functionality metal wires has increased, leading to improvements in the quality of the wire itself. Therefore, lubricants that do not adversely affect the subsequent processes of the wire (such as coating, plating, and twisting) are particularly required, in addition to lubricity. Our lubricants are formulated with uniquely designed surfactants, achieving high cleaning ability while maintaining lubricity.
