basic information
**Lecture 1** Lighting design using LED as a light source has become commonplace, but attention has been focused on energy saving and long lifespan, often neglecting considerations regarding light quality compared to traditional light sources. Maintaining light quality while ensuring longevity is also an important point. Furthermore, while LED light sources are said to have no effects from ultraviolet light, in reality, the peak spectrum in the blue region can cause various problems. Xicato addresses the issues and challenges associated with such LED lighting through a module utilizing remote phosphor technology, providing a solution that offers usability similar to traditional light sources while making no compromises on light quality. This presentation will explain the technical background and the products. **Lecture 2** Microparticle polymers are used as plastic-based additives in a wide range of fields to enhance the functionality of base materials. Our company has developed microparticle polymer "Tech Polymer" through unique polymerization technology and has been expanding its business. Here, we will introduce the characteristics, applications, and properties of Tech Polymer. Additionally, we will present particles that suppress wavelengths in the blue light region and examples of their applications.
