The Viscotek SEC-MALS20 is a multi-angle light scattering detector for size exclusion chromatography (or gel permeation chromatography). By simultaneously measuring scattered light at 20 angles, it calculates the absolute molecular weight independent of elution volume. Malvern already offers detectors for 90° (right angle) scattering and 7° (low angle) scattering.
