basic information
**Part 1: Lecture Overview** In this lecture, we will first touch upon the evolution of power delivery in electronic devices and the latest trends in power supply technology. Next, we will introduce the concept of a DC power grid to supply power to various devices and circuits within a system in package (SiP). As a foundational technology, we will discuss the embedded technology for power inductors used in DC-DC converters that are currently under development, including magnetic material technology, manufacturing methods, and evaluation techniques. **Part 2: Lecture Overview** It is said that "whoever controls magnetism controls power electronics," and inductors and transformers are essential to power electronics. However, designing magnetic components in switching circuits is highly challenging, and there are very few universities or books that teach practical techniques. We are developing composite transformer technology that integrates multiple power magnetic components through innovative structures and operations. This technology achieves four functions—voltage conversion, isolation transformers, resonant inductors, and smoothing inductors, as well as noise filters—within a single magnetic component. In this seminar, we will carefully explain the optimal design techniques for inductors and transformers, which electrical engineers often find challenging, from the basics to advanced levels. Together with the participants, we aim to invigorate the industry and lead the world.
