basic information
**Part 1: Lecture Overview** In this lecture, I will introduce several case studies of problems caused by bubbles, while outlining the mechanisms of bubble formation and their behavior. I will also present the principles of the batch and continuous defoaming methods currently in use. Additionally, I will provide an overview of a novel defoaming method that utilizes the characteristics of high-viscosity solutions showcased at the exhibition. **Part 2: Lecture Summary** This lecture will discuss bubble suppression and defoaming methods based on many years of accumulated research on slurry operations. It is important to note that the bubbles addressed in this lecture are small bubbles contained within the slurry, rather than the foaming caused by substances like soap.
