We were performing boring processing with CBN using carbide holders. We used a variety of standard and special types, but we struggled with the precision and quality (shine) of the machined surfaces. After specially manufacturing and testing a tungsten head carbide boring holder, we resolved issues such as machining surface precision, color tone, and minor vibrations (waviness) that we faced during hard turning.
