EzLabel FluoroNeo fluorescently labels amino groups simply by mixing it with a protein solution and heating (reacts at 37 to 95°C). It allows for fluorescent labeling just by replacing the electrophoresis preparation solution (sample buffer) with this product, enabling immediate detection and imaging after electrophoresis using a Blue LED or UV light. No staining or decolorization steps are necessary. With excitation from a Blue LED, detection can be performed without removing the gel from the glass plate, allowing for high-sensitivity detection at silver staining levels. The molecular weight remains almost unchanged even after labeling. After detection (observation), it can also be used for Western blot analysis (detection on membranes, reaction with antibodies). The price is offered reasonably, similar to staining reagents.
