This is a high nickel content nickel-zinc alloy plating with 14% nickel and 86% zinc. Compared to standard nickel-zinc alloy plating (such as Stencoat or Zinloy), which contains 7% nickel and 93% zinc, the nickel content is doubled. As a result, the corrosion resistance is more than doubled, providing an ultra-high corrosion-resistant coating. There are two types of trivalent chromium conversion treatments: trivalent white type (blue-black finish) and trivalent black type (black finish).
