We will introduce an example of efficient siRNA transfection automation using the Tecan Freedom EVO.
We introduce a case study on the implementation of the Tecan Freedom EVO 200 workstation. The Life Sciences Research Laboratory at Ishihara Sangyo Co., Ltd. successfully automated efficient siRNA transfection using the Tecan Freedom EVO(R) 200 workstation through collaborative research with Osaka University’s Industry-Academia Collaboration Headquarters, paving the way for high-efficiency high-throughput screening of small RNA libraries. [Contents] - Optimization of the siRNA transfection system using HVJ envelope. - Automation eliminates variations and human errors arising from differences in experimenter skills. - Automation significantly expands the range of applications, and we are considering its use on a larger scale in the future.
