I/O adapter connector
The "DNIOAE series" is an adapter for contact input and output. By using it with rack options equipped with an SNMP unit (DNHD12E and DNHD6E), various contact-type sensors can be accommodated for contact input, enabling the IP conversion of contact states or notifications to contact outputs. Additionally, it is also possible to output the link status of the media converter mounted in the rack option as contact output. The contact I/O adapter "DNIOAE series" has three types of specifications: 1. Input module "DNIOAE-I" 2. Output module "DNIOAE-O" 3. This is an adapter for input and output of contact points. The DNIOAE-IM has 10 channels of voltage-free contact inputs (non-isolated). The DNIOAE-OM has 10 channels of voltage-free contact outputs (isolated). The IOAE-A can be combined with DN1700E, DN6700E, or DN9830E, DN9840E to transfer contact information (4 channels each for input/output). By installing this device in a subrack equipped with an SNMP unit (DNHD12E or DNHD6E), the following functions can be realized: ■ IP conversion of contact information input status It is possible to convert each contact input status to IP. ■ MC status output The DNIOAE-OM can output the link status of the media converter installed in the subrack as contact output. ■ Contact synchronization By analyzing the IP-converted packets, it is possible to synchronize the contact inputs and outputs of this device.
