◎Details about the key - You can choose from three types of authentication methods: USB device, password, or USB + password. - You can use any USB device recognized by the device manager as a key (hubs are excluded). - The vendor ID, product ID, and serial number of the USB device are distinguished, so even devices of the same model will not be able to act as duplicates if their serial numbers are different. - The password can be set to a maximum of 63 characters using printable half-width alphanumeric symbols. - It is also possible to set up a strong dual key using USB + password. ◎Creating an encrypted area You can create a hidden area (secret area) on the free space of the internal hard disk that is not visible without the key. It can only be used as a virtual drive when unlocked by a pre-registered key. The secret area is encrypted, and third parties without the key cannot access the data within the secret area. - AES (256-bit key) is used for encryption. - Even if the computer is stolen and the hard disk is removed, the data cannot be analyzed without the key. - Separate areas can be set for each key configured on the USB HardLocker.
