The O-ring cherry seal is molded from various materials including NBR-70-2 (type 2 / nitrile rubber) and is available in a wide range of sizes.
Among the materials made of nitrile rubber, acrylonitrile is highly contained, and due to its excellent oil resistance, it can also be used for fuel oils. However, it is inferior in weather resistance. Before JIS B2401:2012 established NBR-70-2, it was referred to as Type 2 (old JIS standard = JIS B2401:2005).
