This is an introduction to the control box MCL2, which is a switching power supply method (SMPS) specifically for the Dewart Oking actuators. It offers various advantages compared to conventional EI transformers and toroidal transformers, as follows: It supports use in various countries (only requiring a change of the power cable for AC100-240V). It is lighter than previous models (approximately 900g) and has an eco-friendly standby power consumption of less than 0.5W. It consistently supplies a stable voltage (DC29V), making it less likely for the actuator's speed to decrease even under load. Up to four actuators can be connected, with the option to synchronize two of them. The controller comes standard with waterproof functionality rated IPX6. An optional control box port for connecting a dedicated battery can be equipped, and it is also possible to output power for external lights. Additionally, it is possible to connect operation switches other than the main switch. The control box offers output capacities of 100W, 160W, and 230W, accommodating various actuator loads.
