In addition to the conventional physical polishing, by simultaneously performing electro-polishing, which induces a chemical reaction by passing current through the electrolyte, the polished surface is covered with a dense and uniform passive film, and the chromium concentration within that film is concentrated to more than 1.5 times that of iron, resulting in a surface that is more resistant to rust. Furthermore, complete degreasing becomes possible after composite electro-polishing, improving the efficiency of the cleaning process. The sanitary vacuum ball valves manufactured by MIZUP in Taiwan leverage these features, making them ideal for pharmaceutical and food applications, and they have a proven track record of contract manufacturing (ODM) for many major manufacturers.
