In addition to the conventional physical polishing, by simultaneously performing electro-polishing, which induces a chemical reaction by passing current through the electrolyte, the polished surface is covered with a dense and uniform passive film, and the chromium concentration within that film is concentrated to more than 1.5 times that of iron, resulting in a surface that is more resistant to rust. Furthermore, complete degreasing becomes possible after composite electro-polishing, improving the efficiency of the cleaning process.
