basic information
**Part 2: Lecture Overview** Texas Instruments is working towards the practical application of DLP head-up displays as a solution to such requests. In head-up displays, which are also advancing towards larger screens like other displays, DLP is increasingly recognized as a leading candidate for wide-angle head-up displays due to its efficiency and high image quality. This presentation will explain the configuration and features of head-up displays that utilize DLP, as well as introduce future initiatives. **Part 3: Lecture Purpose** Head-up display technology enhances driving safety by projecting necessary information for driving, such as speed, onto the windshield (WS), making it easier for drivers to recognize various information. This presentation will first explain the fundamentals of automotive window glass (required optical performance, durability, etc.). Following that, it will discuss the history and types of head-up display technology that involves processing the WS. Finally, it will outline various functional glasses for automotive window glass, including heat insulation, sound insulation, and water repellency, as part of the trend towards high functionality.
