Lauda's automatic dynamic viscosity measurement PVS In the production and recycling of polycarbonate (such as CD-ROMs) and polymethyl methacrylate (such as plexiglass), the IV value (intrinsic viscosity) plays an important role. Viscosity measurements of polymer solutions are also conducted in the production of raw material pellets. Lauda's dynamic viscosity measurement system can be configured with up to 8 measurement stands equipped with an automatic cleaning function, and the injection of sample solutions into the viscosity tubes can be performed either automatically or manually. This system allows for the measurement of a large number of samples with 24-hour operation. In cases where measurement frequency is low, it is also possible to build a system at an affordable price, with the option to add automation modules such as auto samplers later on.
