A flooring lining method that provides the reassurance of being non-slip!
We received a consultation regarding the production line at Food Factory A, where the floor near the conveyor is slippery and poses a dangerous situation, and they would like to improve it. 1. The flooring is made of poured epoxy resin (a smooth floor) that becomes slippery as soon as water is spilled on it. 2. The lubricant sprayed on the parts to ensure the smooth flow of the conveyor rollers is also spreading onto the floor, contributing to the slipperiness.

basic information
Generally, the common method for anti-slip treatment of floors is to apply a non-slip sand, but this sand can surface and is not acceptable in food factory environments. Therefore, we used the "shibo" method (also known as the yuzu skin finish) for the application. This shibo method incorporates small sand particles that are encapsulated in resin, so they do not expose on the surface. The final finish is achieved by rolling on the resin surface to enhance its texture. 1. The shibo method creates a non-slip and safe environment. 2. The floor level appears uniform and flat. 3. There are no issues with durability, and it can maintain performance for 3 to 5 years with normal foot traffic.
