The CS18-VLF is a low-frequency sensor calibration device. It is capable of excitation at ultra-low frequencies required for seismic measurements and can achieve the necessary G output from large amplitude strokes. It allows for the calibration of seismometers and accelerometers in the low-frequency range needed for vibration analysis of structures in the fields of seismic resistance, vibration control, and isolation. Additionally, its application range is extensive, including modal analysis in transportation machines such as automobiles and aircraft, as well as in electronics, industrial machinery, and machine tools. This calibration device is intended for secondary calibration in the private sector, but primary standard calibration devices (NIST traceable) are also available.
