basic information
The MSD spray dryer is a multi-stage spray dryer that combines spray fluidized bed drying technology with a three-stage drying process. A series of nozzles atomizes the concentrated liquid, and the atomized liquid is supplied to the drying chamber. Dry air enters the drying chamber vertically at high speed, ensuring optimal mixing with the atomized concentrated liquid. This drying chamber and air flow are designed to prevent particles from adhering to the walls of the drying chamber and to directly guide the particles to the integrated fluidized bed at the bottom of the drying chamber for the second stage of drying treatment. Finally, the powder is directed to the VIBRO-FLUIDIZER fluidized bed for final drying and cooling. Since the dry air exits from the top of the drying chamber, it allows for very well-defined secondary agglomeration/granulation when the fine particles in the dry air collide with the atomized concentrated liquid sprayed from the nozzles. The exhaust air passes through a SANICIP bag filter that separates any residual particles contained in the air. The fine particles discharged from the bag filter are returned either to the static fluidized bed in the drying chamber or to the nozzles, depending on the desired granulation. If non-granulated powder is required, the fine particles are directed straight to the VIBRO-FLUIDIZER fluidized bed.
