basic information
**Lecture Summary** To sustain stable agricultural production and energy-saving measures that consider the environment, controlling the cultivation environment is essential. Traditionally, light control in the cultivation environment has focused primarily on shading; however, recent advancements in covering materials have led to the development of various functional materials that not only offer high light transmittance and long-term stretching capabilities but also improve the cultivation environment, with some already in use. In this context, I will focus on agricultural ultraviolet-cut, infrared-cut, wavelength conversion, and scattering light films, discussing their characteristics, functions, weather resistance, and impacts on crops, with a particular emphasis on long-term stretching films.
