Streamlining construction management with automatic CAD modeling, data comparison, and annotation features - also compatible with Revit and Rebro.
Elizion Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture, President: Yuji Yano, hereinafter referred to as Elizion) has developed a function that allows for the CAD modeling of piping and steel materials based on point cloud data measured with a 3D laser scanner, which can be output as data for the architectural CAD "Autodesk Revit." This will be available starting with the new version "Ver. 6.0" of the point cloud data processing software InfiPoints, scheduled for release on September 30, 2019.

basic information
Output CAD models that can be collected from point clouds. InfiPoints has the capability to automatically extract cylinders and planes from point cloud data measured with a 3D laser scanner, allowing users to create CAD models of the site with simple mouse operations while utilizing these elements. The newly released Revit output option allows users to export the CAD models they create not just as geometric information, but as data that can be edited in Revit, including attributes such as length and diameter. It is also possible to transfer attribute information of the CAD models, such as piping standards. As a result, designers can import the CAD models created with InfiPoints into Revit and begin modeling from a state where many shapes are already completed, enabling them to create CAD data for the construction site in a short amount of time.
