basic information
**Lecture Summary** Organic/metal hybrid polymers are a new type of polymer formed by the self-assembly of organic molecules and metal ions through complex formation. When the film of this polymer is electrochemically oxidized and reduced, it exhibits reversible coloring and decoloring (electrochromism). By changing the organic molecules and metal ions used, polymers of various colors such as blue, red, and yellow can be synthesized. This lecture will introduce organic/metal hybrid polymers and color smart windows utilizing them.
