Pressure balance, distribution, and magnitude can be easily measured with presscale. Developed using Fujifilm's advanced thin-film coating technology, this film acts as a sensor that detects pressure across its entire surface, allowing for a quick overview of the pressure distribution over the area. To cover a wide pressure range (0.05 to 300 MPa), we offer 7 types of presscale in 8 variations. 【Structure of Presscale】 ■ There are two types: two-sheet type and mono-sheet type. The mono-sheet type consists of a film where the color developer and color former are applied to separate supports on a single substrate. The two-sheet type is used by overlapping the chemically coated surfaces. 【Principle of Color Development】 ■ The microcapsules in the color former layer are broken by pressure, causing the color former to adsorb onto the color developer, resulting in a red color through a chemical reaction.
