**Principle** When the color developer dissolves due to heat, and permeability occurs in the microcapsule wall, the color developer enters the inside of the capsule and reacts chemically with the colorant, resulting in color development. Two types are available, corresponding to low temperatures (80-105°C) and high temperatures (150-210°C).
