We will introduce a case where "Presscale" was used to check the contact on the PL surface and to confirm the distortion of the mold and molding machine. The height accuracy of each component on the PL surface may deviate from the target, leading to strong contact or causing parts that should make contact to not do so, resulting in burrs. Additionally, the thickness accuracy of the molded products may deteriorate, leading to uneven wear on the mold and a shorter mold lifespan. By conducting contact checks with Presscale and adjusting the PL surface, it is possible to identify the causes of defects in molded products and prevent them from occurring, as well as extend the lifespan of the mold. It is also possible to check the deflection of the platen and the contact state with the mold.
