The MD-700 is a dryer specifically designed for atmospheric analyzers. It minimizes particle loss while controlling humidity in applications for particle measurement and aerosol analysis in the atmosphere.
The MD-700 dryer can perform accurate analysis at various flow rates while minimizing particle loss along with moisture removal. To minimize particle loss in atmospheric particle measurement, the sample gas needs to flow through the dryer in a laminar state. We used a Nafion large-diameter tube, which is an ion exchange membrane, to ensure that the sample gas maintains laminar flow while removing moisture. Unlike desiccant-type dryers, there are no regularly replaceable components in this dryer, and it is essentially maintenance-free.
