basic information
**Lecture 1: Summary of the Presentation** In this lecture, we will first focus on technologies for storing heat, particularly those that efficiently utilize phase changes in materials (melting/freezing) for heat storage. We will explain the principles of thermal storage, the characteristics of utilization technologies, and key points for material selection. Next, we will introduce application examples and research and development trends in latent heat storage. Additionally, we will discuss one of the challenges of latent heat storage, which is supercooling, along with the phenomenon and preventive measures/utilization strategies through application examples. **Lecture 2: Summary of the Presentation** In recent times, there is a growing demand for improving the energy efficiency of residential buildings, and the passive characteristics of the buildings themselves are also an important factor. Here, we will discuss the elements of passive houses, covering the basics and the latest trends, with a particular emphasis on expectations regarding thermal storage technology. **Lecture 3: Summary of the Presentation** From the perspective of the only paraffin manufacturing company in the country, I would like to introduce the latest trends and challenges related to manufacturing and utilization, as well as the corresponding technologies, while also engaging in discussions with participants about future directions. **Lecture 4: Summary of the Presentation** I will present our past achievements and the newly developed simple transportable trans-heat container.
