The syn1588 PCIe NIC is a standard Ethernet card that complies with the IEEE1588-2008 standard, supporting 10/100/1000Mbit speeds. It is inserted into the PCIe slots of each device (node) on the ETHERNET, allowing for precise synchronization between nodes. The product comes with a network driver and the syn1588 PTP Stack software, enabling the execution of all IEEE1588 tasks, such as master/slave selection. Additionally, it supports hardware timestamps for both 1-step and 2-step modes. It features 1PPS input/output, event output, trigger output, periodic output, and an optional OCXO, allowing for versatile usage according to application needs. It is ideal for systems requiring precise time synchronization between devices, such as in factory automation (FA) and physical measurement fields. Support for 802.1AS is planned.
