Development of Speed Control Device for JR East This is a development case for East Japan Railway Company (JR East). By using NI's embedded unit cRIO, we achieved significant cost reduction for a system that previously required more than eight commercial measuring instruments. Controlling signals with FPGA made it possible to output results that were not achievable with measuring instruments, allowing for a driving simulation that is closer to "real vehicles."

Energy consumption monitoring of air conditioning for Azbil, visualized using an iPad. A development case for Azbil. In addition to monitoring the energy consumption of home air conditioning, temperature and humidity in each room are collectively collected using wireless sensors. The acquired data is displayed on an iPad. Past data can be viewed, and the status of each room is visualized in real-time.
