Heat exchangers for water and CIP solutions for food factories
The Tetra Spiraflow CIP & Water Heater is a tubular heat exchanger designed to directly heat CIP solutions and process water inline using steam. It features a hygienic design intended for use in food manufacturing. This heater is equipped with a floating tube that absorbs thermal expansion caused by the temperature difference between the CIP solution and steam at the beginning of each stage of the cleaning cycle. The Tetra Spiraflow CIP heater is a single-pass heat exchanger, where the CIP solution flows through a parallel group of tubes. The heat transfer medium flows in the gaps around these tubes. The tubes for the CIP solution consist of several tubes of the same diameter. These tubes are of a corrugated type, which creates turbulence in the liquid and enhances heat conduction.
