Asbestos-specific Ministry of the Environment harmless treatment certified facility (Reactor No. 3) has started operation!
In 2013, the Majo Clean Center Co., Ltd. obtained certification from the Ministry of the Environment for the harmless treatment of asbestos-containing waste. Until now, we have been conducting melting and harmless treatment of waste asbestos (sprayed asbestos) at existing facilities, but starting from the 2013 fiscal year, we began the harmless treatment of asbestos-containing waste at our certified treatment facility (Furnace No. 3). By integrating the melting furnace and feeding equipment, we achieved high-efficiency melting and harmless treatment by pre-treating (crushing) asbestos-containing waste before melting. We can handle the harmless treatment of all asbestos-containing waste (waste asbestos, asbestos-containing industrial waste, and asbestos-containing general waste). 【Features】 - Large-size treatment bags can be fed through a slide gate and receiving hopper. - Safe crushing and transportation are achieved with a four-axis crusher and screw conveyor. - Harmless treatment through high-temperature melting above 1,500°C and effective utilization of water-quenched slag. - Achieved a cost reduction of 30-50% compared to conventional equivalent equipment. Mogami Clean Center Co., Ltd. is a company located in Mogami County, Yamagata Prefecture, that engages in the intermediate treatment and landfill of industrial waste, as well as the harmless treatment of asbestos-containing waste and other materials. On March 15, 2013, Mogami Clean Center obtained certification from the Ministry of the Environment for the harmless treatment of asbestos-containing waste. Until now, we have been conducting melting harmless treatment of waste asbestos (sprayed asbestos) at our existing facility (Furnace No. 2), but starting from the fiscal year 2013, in addition to the harmless treatment at the existing facility, we have begun harmless treatment of asbestos-containing materials at our certified harmless treatment facility (Furnace No. 3). Furthermore, we utilize the waste heat from Mogami Clean Center through thermal recycling to cultivate orchids, mountain cherries, and fruit tomatoes. This initiative connects recycling and environmental conservation to new industrial promotion, aiming to contribute to the local community.
