However, the proliferation of weeds not only deteriorates the landscape but also leads to visibility issues, allergen dispersion, and the emergence of pests and diseases, making it something that cannot be ignored. This necessitates regular weeding, which can be a significant workload, and the use of strong herbicides can reduce soil fertility and potentially destroy ecosystems. Therefore, one method is to lay down weed control sheets in areas where weed proliferation is to be avoided, but conventional weed control sheets have two environmental burden factors. One is that the materials used in the manufacturing of the sheets are derived from petroleum. The other is that the disposal of the sheets after degradation can generate a lot of CO2.
