At TAKACHI, custom sponge can be produced in short lead times starting from just 1 piece! 【Sponge Materials】 ■ Urethane Foam A highly elastic sponge foam. Its soft material makes it easy to remove from storage equipment, which is an advantage. It is mainly produced through press processing using molds. ■ Polyethylene Foam A sponge with high airtightness and a slightly harder texture. It has good machinability and is used for processing complex shapes through cutting. 【Interior Sponge Production Using Cutting Machines】 ■ No initial costs (mold production costs) are required. This provides a price advantage for small lots. ■ TAKACHI has introduced a combined processing machine with vibrating blades and cutting drills, enabling the processing of complex shapes. ■ It allows for recessed processing with freely adjustable depths, which cannot be replicated with molds. *Note: In the case of recessed processing, traces of machining will remain on the finished surface. 【Press Processing Production Using Molds】 ■ Mold costs are required, but for large lots (approximately 30 to 50 pieces or more), the unit price is lower, providing a cost advantage. ■ Since processing can be done under the same conditions, it allows for a finish with minimal individual variation. ■ Only through holes can be processed. ■ When processing thicker materials made of polyethylene (harder), warping may occur in the cross-section.

【How to Place an Order】 Please place your order using the methods below. 1) Send us the CAD data of the processing diagram. 2) Place your order with a sketch diagram. * Please fill in the processing dimensions. 3) Send us a sample of the item you want to store. If the production quantity is small, we will use NC processing with no initial costs. For larger quantities, we will create a die and manufacture at a lower unit price using press processing. The material for the sponge can be specified as soft polyurethane or slightly harder polyethylene. If cutting processing is required, the material will be polyethylene. ★ Sponge materials and storage case bodies are always in stock! Hole processing, printing on cases, sponge processing, etc., can be completed at TAKACHI, ensuring a hassle-free and short delivery time!
