The Super Cell (SCB) is a highly durable load cell designed to address the two major failure factors of load cells: overload and cable disconnection. It achieves a load capacity of 500% and uses robot cables. Moreover, it is not only durable but also highly responsive! It allows for short stroke press fitting comparisons and reduced takt times. ■ High Rigidity Achieves rigidity equivalent to piezoelectric sensors using strain gauge sensors! The deformation during loading is minimal, making it safe for use in measuring the cutting and grinding power of machine tools. ■ Overload Capacity of 500% There is no impact on accuracy even under overload conditions of up to 500% of the rated capacity. It can stably measure under harsh loads such as pressing and press fitting for extended periods. ■ No Calibration Required All zero points and full scales are adjusted at the factory, so calibration is not necessary when replacing the load cell. ■ High Responsiveness Achieves a resonance frequency comparable to piezoelectric sensors! It can also be used for monitoring high-speed phenomena. ■ Use of Robot Cables Utilizes robot cables that are resistant to cable disconnection.

Unipulse Corporation is a sensor manufacturer. We develop a wide range of products using various technologies, including digital indicators for optimal load application in press-fitting and crimping, capacitive non-contact displacement meters, spindle clamping force measuring devices, small-diameter tool gripping force gauges, and rotating torque meters. In particular, the UTM series of rotating torque meters has become the standard for shaft-type torque measurement and is used in many development and manufacturing sites. In recent years, we have internalized the production of strain gauges and are manufacturing load cells and multi-force gauges in-house. Our subsidiary, Robotech, develops and sells products such as Uniservo (electric torque actuators) and Moonlifter (electric balancers). Notably, the electric balancer, which constantly detects force and position using load sensors and servo motors, allows for the movement of heavy objects with the sensitivity of human hands.
