The AMP+ high current connector system HVP 800 safely transmits high current and high voltage in hybrid and electric vehicles.
High-performance connectors that achieve high current and optimal size. TE's AMP+ high current connector system HVP 800 safely transmits high current and high voltage of up to 250 A (continuous operation) from the battery to the inverter and electric motor over 50 mm² wires. A robust design allows for waterproof connectors that optimize the implementation size and enable the best selection of plugs and headers, facilitating the routing of wire harness assemblies through multiple paths. The two-pole or three-pole connectors and headers with contact protection structure consist of right-angle plugs or straight plugs, integrating HVIL functionality and EMI shielding internally. This connector product family is characterized by a wide operating temperature range and available wire range, and offers multiple keying options considering the applications for many hybrid and electric vehicles. Assembly is easy with lever operation, even with low insertion force.
