Examples of safety devices during manhole opening and work When a manhole is opened and work is being performed, a motion detection sensor installed on the side of the manhole sends a signal to the safety relay. This signal ensures that the solenoid valve controlling the On/Off valve of the steam filling line to the relevant tank remains closed at all times, regardless of signals from above, thereby ensuring the safety of the workers.
