Examples of safety devices during manhole opening and work When a manhole is opened and work is being conducted, a motion detection sensor attached to the side of the manhole sends a signal to the safety relay. This signal ensures that the solenoid valve controlling the On/Off valve of the steam filling line to the relevant tank remains closed at all times, regardless of signals from higher levels, thereby ensuring the safety of the workers.
