Improved discharge issues from a cement silo with a 45° slope in the corn section.
To improve the discharge issues from the cement silo with a 45° cone slope and gentle incline, we introduced the "Brodisk." Originally, the existing silo was addressed with aeration using air nozzles, but based on our experience, we believe the installation location was too high, and the gentle cone slope contributed to the problem. After installing the "Brodisk" in the position we recommended, the discharge issues were resolved! The customer decided to keep the initial air nozzles as a precaution, but they evaluated that the problem was completely solved with our product alone, without needing to use them at all. 【Installation Overview】 ● Silo Diameter: 2000φ ● Discharge Section: 350A ● Cone Slope: 45° ● Contents: Cement ● Existing Air Nozzles: 25A, 4 locations 【Brodisk Installation Position】 ● 4 units at 300mm along the hopper wall from the discharge section ● 4 units at 450mm along the hopper wall from the discharge section ● A total of 8 units, with the upper and lower rows rotated 45°.
