The amendment to the Ministerial Ordinance of the Telecommunications Business Act and the Terminal Equipment Regulations has been made, and a new "Security Standard" has been established. This new regulation differs in nature from the previous ones, and guidelines regarding it have also been published. The new regulations will come into effect on April 1, 2020. UL Japan has already begun multiple certifications.
