TPX (poly(methyl pentene)) is a resin that excels in transparency, heat resistance, and chemical resistance. As a mandrel, it has a low surface tension of 24 dyne/cm, which contributes to excellent moldability and contamination resistance. In addition, it has distinctive thermal properties, demonstrating excellent heat aging resistance and steam (boiling water) resistance. Utilizing these characteristics allows for a reduction in the rubber vulcanization process time and processing costs during the production of rubber hoses.
