"Delta Tocotrienol CD" is a product that has been complexed using cyclodextrin with annatto extract oil (Bixa orellana seed extract oil). Tocotrienols have higher antioxidant activity compared to tocopherols and are also known as super vitamin E. Among the tocotrienols, there are four types of isomers (α, β, γ, δ), and we focused on δT3, which is found in high concentrations in annatto extract oil (Bixa orellana seed extract oil), particularly the desmethyl forms γT3 and δT3. By complexing this with cyclodextrin, we successfully commercialized it as a powdered formulation that improves the stability and absorption of T3.
