It is a screw that can be tightened while forming a male thread on the counterpart component, eliminating the need for male thread processing or nuts. The cross-section of the screw part is shaped like a rice ball (triangle), allowing for fastening with a smaller torque compared to tapping screws. The pitch is the same as that of standard small screws, so small screws can be used on the male threads created after screwing in. It is compliant with EU-RoHS standards.
