Morella Co., Ltd. is a company engaged in the manufacturing and sales of cosmetics and health foods utilizing mulberry grown using hydroponic cultivation technology. The mulberry leaves we grow are cultivated hydroponically. Unlike mulberry leaves grown outdoors, they are pesticide-free and safe. These high-quality mulberry leaves are made possible by hydroponic cultivation. We carry out consistent manufacturing from raw materials to products, processing mulberry (leaves, stems, roots) grown in plant factories at our own facility. In April 2015, we sowed mulberry seeds and named the mulberry grown using hydroponic technology "Sara Kua." The edible mulberry leaves are called "Sara Kua." Our company cultivates and commercializes mulberry (Sarakusa) within our own plant factory. To achieve stable year-round cultivation of high-value plants without pesticides, a plant factory is essential. We have developed all aspects of the factory design, cultivation equipment, and cultivation methods in-house. The superiority of our cultivation technology lies in our ability to artificially increase the characteristic components of the plants and harvest roots rich in functional components without rotting. In collaboration with Niigata University of Pharmacy and Applied Life Sciences, we have also discovered excellent components. We have commercialized Sarakusa leaves as tea and Sarakusa roots as cosmetic ingredients, both of which possess these excellent components, to promote health and beauty as we age. Sarakusa and Sarakuwane are our registered trademarks.
