The DWDS2040 series is a simple DWDM-type optical multiplexer (optical wavelength division multiplexer). It complies with the ITU-T G.694 international standard. It can transmit 40 channels in the C-band (1530 to 1570 nm) using a single optical fiber, in accordance with the ITU-T G.694.1 DWDM standard for SFP and SFP+.
