As one example of the installation of "FRP Pergolas," we introduce a case from Kumamoto Prefecture: the "Kumagawa Cycling Road (Yumemai Hitoyoshi Bicycle Path)." The area along the Kumagawa Cycling Road has few large trees, so a pergola was installed as a shaded facility for resting during the summer while enjoying the cool waters of the Kumagawa River. FRP materials, known for their strength and durability, were used as vines will be entwined around the pergola.
