An evolved hydraulic tensioner that overcomes the challenges of conventional tensioners, such as "too heavy," "does not fit in narrow spaces," and "oil leaks with repeated use."
The hydraulic bolt tensioner "Boltight," a member of the Nord-Lock Group, was born as an evolved version re-invented by the engineer Fred Heaton, who originally developed the tensioner, to address the challenges faced by the tensioner itself. These challenges include common disadvantages of hydraulic tools like tensioners, such as being "too heavy and difficult to work with," "leaking oil after repeated use," and "not being able to be installed in tight spaces." All of Boltight's tensioners have been significantly lightened to the extreme, utilizing in-house developed bridges and seals to reduce the weight of the tensioner. Additionally, the durability for repeated use has greatly improved through technologies such as in-house developed seals. Furthermore, we can flexibly customize the shape and size for areas where space constraints prevent standard applications, delivering them with the same lead time as standard products.
