The MC8D48 and MC8D49 series transmitters measure and calculate temperature, relative humidity, and dew point temperature. There are models available with standard analog signal output only and models with MODBUS-RTU protocol RS485 output only. The analog output models provide analog signals suitable for displays and recorders, while the RS485 output models supply serial signals for connection to PCs or PLCs. The MC8D48 series is an active type transmitter that can be used with both DC and AC power supplies, and offers standard current output of DC 4-20mA or DC 0-10V, or RS485 output as options. The MC8D49 series is a passive type that can be used with a 4-20mA current loop. Both the MC8D48 and MC8D49 series are designed for controlling temperature and relative humidity in the HVAC and BEMS fields. A proven capacitive humidity sensor is used for relative humidity, ensuring high accuracy and long-term reliability in measurements. For temperature measurement, both series can be supplied with a standard measurement range of -20 to +80°C or an extended measurement range of -40 to +150°C.

A stainless steel 20μm protective filter is installed at the probe tip to protect the sensor from dust particles and strong airflows. The transmitter is calibrated at the factory, and no recalibration or adjustment is required before use. Each model can be combined with either a duct insertion rear probe (TO), a wall-mounted downward probe (TV), or a cable-connected separate probe (TC). The standard stem lengths for the probe are 135mm and 335mm. For mounting the transmitter, options such as flange MC8D48-HD900831S and cable gland MC8D48-PG16S are available. By equipping an optional four-digit LCD display, it is possible to show measurement values in continuous or alternating display mode for temperature or humidity. It can be used in various industries and civilian applications, including pharmaceutical factories, museums, clean rooms, ventilation ducts, kitchens and dining halls, auditoriums, sports gyms, farm facilities, and more.
