Since it can perform thin film coating without contacting the substrate, it is adopted in cutting-edge fields such as optical films, functional films, and lithium-ion secondary batteries. The film thickness is determined by the amount discharged from the die head and the speed of the substrate being transferred. The die slit width is set according to the viscosity of the liquid and the desired film thickness.
